This was originally the home of my grandparents, Richard and Catherine Murphy, and their 5 sons. My grandparents moved to Shelbina from Illinois in 1964. I dont know who they bought the house and property from. The original home is pictured in the background and was demolished shortly after this photo. The house in the foreground was being built by my grandfather, father, and uncles. My grandfather added a machine shed later across the circle drive from the house. In the mids 90's he sold the farm to Michael Poore who still occupies the residence and ooerates the farm.
