Comments

My family moved to Sheds in 1943. Sheds children attended school in DeRuyter, NY. I graduated from DeRuyter High School in 1958 then went on to college. During the time I lived in Sheds there was a General Store(Post Office within), Feed Mill, Saw Mill, Milk Station, Barbershop, Upholstery Shop, Clothing Alterations and The Methodist Church. The picture shows the intersection of Route 80 east(toward Georgetown)and Route 13 south(toward DeRuyter). None of these businesses exist today. The Clothing Alterations closed about 2016.
