The area under construction was likely what became Newbury Family Practice, which opened its doors in 1990. Dr. Takacs practiced there until 2018. He died of ALS two years later at age 60.

Has anyone shopped at this plaza or could give us more history on what stores have been in the building?
New construction was Newbury Family Practice (1990-2018), moving south from there, at some time or another existed the following: Geauga Savings Bank, Prots Grocery, Newbury Pharmacy (furthest south), Newbury Post Office (west of the pharmacy).
At some point there was a dry cleaners there as well.
On the east, across the parking lot was another small building that held a dentist office and a hair salon (Classic Cuts).
