The house across from Madison High School, was called the Crows Nest. My husband Albert Hlad's parents owned and ran this gas station/restaurant from 1955 to 1968. So sad that the high school is now gone.

graduated in 1961, ate many sloppy Joe's there. nice family. I now live in New Mexico.

Also previous owners were Gus and Ruth Hlad...parents of Robert Hlad...Robert Hlad graduated from Madison in 1955

Lots of good times there and sure was a nice change from eating at the cafeteria. Wonderful people.

This is the home I grew up in. From 1998-2011 my adopted parents raised me here and her mother Janet is who was apart the store and gas station. The gas pumps and the store is no longer their. It was tore down and built into the original is a spare bedroom...

MY HOME 💕 Grew up in this house with my 2 sister and my adopted parents. My grandma was janet who ran the store. It has been renovated and it's still so amazing. Forever loving my home.
