This is Harold and Bernadine Flood farm at the beginning of Shannon Run Road exiting state route 265. Harold has passed away. Bernadine still lives here with health care. Daughter Cindi & son Scott Flood were raised here. Cindi School teacher- Scott Test Pilot.
This is my parents' farm, Harold and Bernadine Flood. They named it Struggling Acres many years ago. Both Mom and Dad are both gone now--Dad in 2012 and Mom just recently, Aug.28, 2017. The farm now belongs to my brother and me, and we (mostly my brother) are working on restoring the farm and the farmhouse while leaving as much of its orginal state as possible. Some things have changed since this picture was taken. The pine trees in front of the house were removed and replaced with oak trees. But this is still HOME to me in all ways.
