My Mom grew up in Logan in a little community called Sand Run. It wasn't even on the map back then but lots of families lived in the community. Today all that is left is the street named Sand Run. It is very overgrown. Some say they plan to flood it (it is in a valley). Most of the people that lived there back then were miners. Mom is now 93 and has written "her story". Moms story names and details the life and times of many families that lived in Sand Run Valley in the 1930's.
