The Ralph Taylor farm on the NE corner of Griggs Rd and Anderson Rd, Rochester. Until the early 1950s he was in the dairy business and at one time provided milk to the cheese factory at Hemphill's Corners. In the 1950s he switched to poultry, maintaining 400 Leghorns.

Some of the outbuildings are gone, but the house and barn remain.

Featured in the Wellington Enterprise as a "Mystery Farm" in the 1950s. This series of articles had a brief history and an aerial photo of each farm. Thanks to Cindy Kurpely of the Rochester Historical Society for providing the article. Search the Lorain County main page for "mystery" to see other farms featured.
