Rt 58 at Rt 303, Pittsfield. Palmer's service station and the Pittsfield Congregational Church, built in 1845. Everything destroyed by the tornado on Palm Sunday, 1965.
My 2nd great-grandfather Richard Mills donated the land and helped build the church in 1845 as a Methodist church, having just arrived from Lincolnshire, England.
