Russell Loomis Homestead Farm Indian Hollow Rd north of Rt 303 LaGrange Twp,O. Russell Loomis came by horseback from Westmoreland New York. He was an early settler coming to LaGrange Twp in 1831. The brick home in front center was built in 1859.
The farm was sold in 1943 to Charles Noble who purchased the adjoining Harrison farm and developed it into Indian Hollow Lake recreation center.The house at left was moved by Mr. Noble. It was built in 1849 and originally adjoined the back of the brick house.
In later years the farm was sold to the Gardener family who made it the Indian Hollow Lake Golf Club.
