The Twarek family owned and operated this little grocery in the late 60's and early 70's, for how long I know not. Their home is next to the store. This is situated at the corner of North Shore Blvd. (E/W) and Erie Beach Road (top to bottom, N/S). The gates of the Lakeside Association are just outside of the right side of this frame. The home to the right was the Gdovicak home. The Legget home is one of the houses in the top of the frame. Comments are relevant to the late 60's-early 70's

When we lived on Oak St. we caught the bus at the store & the entrance was not there---but there was a walk through gate. Where the entrance is in this picture, was our baseball field--- used the Lakeside fence as the home run!!!!
