This is my Aunt Amanda Rudder Taylor Shockey's home. She and her 1st husband Charles Taylor and the Rudder family built this house in the early 50's from limestone. It still stands though a barn was built to the southwest/left of the red shed. Between the new barn and the road is all garden and fruit. She still lives and gardens there at the age of 92. My dad had a dairy just west 1/3 of a mile across the road and and pastured cattle in the 10 acres to the the left/ south of this house.
