This is the home my mother and her eleven brothers and sisters were born and raised in. It has seen generations come and go, it has sheltered, fed, loved, and gracefully been filled with many people both related by blood, and by friendship.
It was a sanctuary to many.
It had one bathroom-can you imagine! Such a gift, this photo does not do it justice.

What has changed? The matriarch of the family passed away in 2010. Her children on October 16, 2010 had an auction and said a tearful good bye to memories and a life well lived. It is now a home to a new family who are making memories of their own.

My mother is the oldest of the twelve. That house raised 12 kids,26 grandkids, and 40? Great grandkids

Sadly yesterday 11/19/23 this house caught fire and burned nearly to the ground 😭
