Photos #32-#34 are of our farm. We purchased the property in 2007. The white farm house pictured above is actually a full size log cabin. We restored it and it is estimated to have been built as early as 1830-1840. There is a lot of family history available. Original family in the log cabin had a very large family and 2 sons who fought in the civil war and one who went to the California Gold Rush. The same family owned the property until the late 1950's or so and we are the third owners. In addition to restoring the log home, we also restored the bank barn. There's a second home on the farm which can be seen in #34 in the background and #32 from the back. This home was a raised ranch built in the late 1950's-early 1960's. Ironically enough, we had a fire at the main house 2 weeks after we bought the farm. We rebuilt it nearly identical to the original. Love living here!
