123 Belle Alto Rd, Sinking Spring. At the time this photo was taken, this was my grandparents farm. The farmhouse housed my grandparents, an uncle, and another uncle, aunt and 5 cousins who all worked the farm. The black roofed building behind the silos was the dairy barn. The white shed in front of the silos was the hay shed. Also numerous implement sheds and a work shed. To the left of the photo and not seen is Belle Alto Rd. Also old apple trees which still produced apples when I was a kid. The large pond in the background was for swimming, but I never went in cause my grandmother had me too scared of snakes. When I was too young to help with the work, I liked being in the meadow with the old cars, and an old cast iron tub and spigot with ice cold water for the cows. Before my grandparents owned this farm, it was a dairy called Belle Alto Farms.
