- I grew up on this farm, prior to the State Game Comission acquiring this farm and other non-Blue Marsh parcels.
- The stone portion of the main house was marked “Ohnmacht 1832” in the peak of the house.
- John W Stowell purchased the farm around 1948 from the Ohlinger Family.
- The Ohnmact Farm was purchased when an Ohnmacht daughter married an Ohlinger in the late 1800’s.
- the farm was 85 acres, Bordered by Landis Road to the north and Dr.Ruth’s farm to the west
