W. Allen Ramsey farm on Mercer road in Center township. Mr Ramsey milked Guernsey cows and had a small milk bottling plant on the farm. He also had a small flock of laying hens. The dairying ceased in the mid 1970's and Mr Ramsey continued to farm into the 90's. The farm has been developed into large homes but the main buildings on the farmstead remain.
