This farm belonged to a Lewis Dunmyer. John Knavel bought it about 1872, his son Levi Knavel inherited it and farmed it until his death in 1924. His son Cloyd Knavel farmed it and lived in this house for a number of years until about the early 1950s. My great great grand father John, and great grand father Levi and great uncle Cloyd.
