Many changes have occurred at this family farm since 1969; however, it has had the same owners. First, the garage nearest the road was destroyed by fire (caused by a lightning strike) in August 1974, and the barn on the right side of the photograph was destroyed by a tornado in June 2014. The large tree next to the house was cut down just weeks before the tornado or else that may have destroyed the home.
