This is the Elwood Rankin property where my Mom, Hulda Rankin Monrean lived before she married my Dad John. Mr. Rankin raised 6 kids here with Huldah Mary Oakley. Elwood, Wilma, Doris, Hulda and Lois are deceased. Living is Edwin who lives in FL. Grandma died in 1959. Elwood died around 1984. He was about 88 years old. He worked at National Gas I think. Grandma Rankin's family was from Sewickly area. Her cousins still live around Clarion. Gary Oakley is one name I remember. This was sold to Gerald Monrean many years ago and now owned by someone else.

The tall trees around house are gone. House has been remodeled and looks very nice !
