Easter Seals Camp Lend-A-Hand on Route 285 just west of Conneaut Lake ,Pa.

I had a summer job there when in high school in 1959-60. Good times!

I was a camper there from 1959-63. There are a few more buildings in the photograph than when I was there. Nice to know it's still there.

I was up there working as a Counselor in '69. I remember it well. It was the year of the moon landing. We watched it on TV. Woodstock was happening over in Western NY and some of the staff drove over

I worked here in the early 70s 71 and72 I think

I was a camper there for one summer, perhaps 1960

I volunteered and did pool time with the campers when I was in college and high s hook. It shaped me for life. At age 68 I still work in special Ed and advocacy. Watch the new documentary. Crip Camp.

I was a camper, I'm going to say about 1965...give or take a year or two. I remember a councilor Ron and some gal kathy was part time worker?

My aunt Jeanne Feeley was the Director of Recreation and Camping for Pennsylvania. I worked at Lend A Hand for 3 years. The campers and guests were awesome.

I worked at Harmony Hall in 1968. I met my first husband there and became involved in the Easter Seals Campaign in 1969. Jeanne was a role model for me.

Is there a photo of Harmony Hall?

I don’t know if anyone will see this but I’m trying to research a death that occurred here. Michael Bilbie on August 7th 1968. Please email me Deanna.hodak@yahoo.com

I was there as a camper in the late 1960s and early 1970s. I remember watching the moon landing in the dining hall, in July 1969. We weren't supposed to watch TV on our own. The Summer of 1970, a friend had a small portable and we secretly caught an episode of Dark Shadows. It was when Barnabas and Julia were thrust into the future year of 1995. We got caught, but were permitted to finish the episode.

I also had to spend some days at the infirmary one Summer there when I came down with the Mumps.

I was at Camp Iroquois, just north of Linesville, from 1949 to 1961. First as camper and later as counselor and director of the camp's Indian Lore Program. We visited Lend-A-Hand on a couple occasions in the 1950's for a 'Pow-Wow'. I think it was like a million years ago!!

I attended Camp Iroquois, owned by a Pittsburgh lawyer names Mason. Is this that camp? I live in Little Rock Arkansas now but will be returning to Pittsburgh this Christmas and have a plan to drive to Linesville. My email ir rockrider2448@hotmail.com. please contact me David McCreery

I volunteered at camp lend a hand the summer of 1971 and it was the best experience of my life. I thought I was going to help disabled people but the compassion I learned there has carried me through life. And I just recently found out that the director during that time was the grandmother of my very first girl friend who also attended St. Agatha's school.

I was a camper in 1957, Camp Lend A Hand's second year of operation. Also went in 58,59,60 and 1962.
There have been several reunions since then. We had a website going for a while, but it is no longer functional. I would like to get it up and running again, maybe on Facebook. Email me if interested.
