This was my grandfather's frozen pizza company, B&H Frozen Pizza. It was sold in the late â™80s to Colebrook farms who went bankrupt immediately after the business transfer. Reese's is on the other side of the parking lot at the top of the photo.

Harold, I used to get B & H pizza at the Wedgewood Hills Apartment's snack bar at their pool (Harrisburg) in the 1970's. This was the absolute BEST frozen pizza I have ever had. It looks like Ellio's & Nordone's, but there is no comparison other than the rectangle slices. I have been trying to find some word on the B & H company for decades & this is the 1st information I've come across. Thanks for sharing & you should really bring this pizza back to life, I know my family & I would buy cases of it!!

Thanks, Hilarie! I can still smell the fresh shells and sauce that "hit you in the face" upon entering the plant. Every Sunday growing up, we spent the day at my Opa's (Harold Sr.), and evening supper was always pizza. I can't tell you how many times I burnt the top of my mouth because I was too impatient to wait for it to cool down. I am very proud of what my grandfather built from the basement of his home in Annville. My sister and I have had conversations about "what if we brought it back?" We still have all of the recipes!

Your are welcome! I always give credit where credit is due. I think I wanted to go to the pool more for the pizza than for the swimming! I had at least one piece a day all summer long & I recall burning my mouth as well for the same reason! I don't recall ever having tried any other products, but I bet they were great also. Would really love for you & your sister to bring back the BEST pizza ever! Please, do whatever it takes to make it happen!!!

I agree. There certainly is no frozen pizza that compares to B&H. If it was your grandpas company, do you have the recipes? Definitely should make a come-back

Hello Harold! You and your sister should really bring it back! It was a great thing that your grandfather built and it was a shame that it all vanished so quickly after he sold it. Like others that have commented, I have great memories of B&H pizza. My brother, sister, and I had it every day at the Hegins pool all summer. And my brother used to live on the steady supply he bought from Midway supermarket (also no longer in existence) in valley view. I’d love to see B&H pizza back in stores!

We did not eat pizza at home when I was growing up in central Pennsylvania. I remember my sister taking me to a Pappy's pizza when I was about 9 and me asking her what was pizza made from. Then one day my Dad brought home a square B&H pizza. He was a truck driver who made a delivery to the B&H plant and was asked to try the pizza. He told the person "I don't like pizza." The replay was "You haven't tried our pizza." Until I moved out, I am pretty sure I never saw my Dad eat any other brand of pizza (including pizza from any of the numerous local pizza shops). I miss those wonderful pizzas.

I’d love to see B& H come back! How can we make that happen?

Just talking about childhood pizza and decided to google B&H. When I was young we lived on Ridge Road in Annville. Susie Hartman was my babysitter. I used to love pizza nights at home. It was always B & H pizza and my mother would cook ground beef to sprinkle on top.

I loved that pizza school and at the pool bring it back pls

Childhood memories. We used to have B&H all the time in the Lehigh Valley. I loved that the crust was crunchy but a little thicker. Sad that it disappeared the way it did.

Amazing! My 19 year old is currently making a boxed pizza brand and commented on how he could live on it. I began telling him about living on a brand served at the school, sold around the area for little league fundraisers, etc., in the 1970’s. My wife joined in and soon we just needed to know, “whatever happened to B&H Pizza?”
Having raised six children, our mom and dad actually upgraded to a larger storage freezer and would order a total of 50 from me and my brothers when we sold them for baseball. Back then our baseball’s opening day was Memorial Day, so the fundraiser sale coincided with the end of the school year. Those pizzas never had a chance of making it through the summer!
Thank you Harold, for the information and a trip down memory lane. Funny how we impact each other’s lives and most times don’t even know it. Your “Opa” had a very positive effect on many of us from that era!

B&H frozen pizza was my very favorite! I was very upset when I could no longer find it in the stores. I, too, have tried over the years to find out why it disappeared. And, I too, would love to see it brought back!

Hi Harold
Marty from the comments above is my brother. If or when you start up again I will be standing in line to get the first pizza. Then setup a monthly resupply plan.
Please bring back the best frozen pizza

B and H pizza was the best frozen pizza I ever had. The pizza was out snack during sleep overs with my friends. If you bring it back I would buy it weekly. I would be willing to invest in the company.

I loved this pizza so much growing up. I had ot every week! I loved it so much I punched it in on my phone at 59 years old trying to get info. Thanks for this! Wish it was still available!
