That is the Clawson farm where I did grow up at. Was in the family for over 150 years. Sadly it was sold in 2022.
Hi Sharon,
What kind of farm was the Clawson Farm while you were growing up? Do you have any history about the property you would like to share?
This was my Gram and Pap Clawsons Farm. It was a dairy farm up until sometime late 80's I believe. I was just a young girl when they got rid of the cows. Growing up my mom and I had horses in the barn for a few years. After that the barn was used to store hay mostly. The property was used to grow hay and corn at times. My Grams name was Janet Clawson and my Pap was Raymond Clawson. So many memories within our family on this farm. My aunt Sharon commented above about how long it was part of the family. It will forever be the Clawson farm in my eyes.
Hi Shannon! Thank you for sharing your wonderful memories of the Clawson farm. It sounds like such a special place for your family. We'd love to hear more about your experiences growing up there. Do you happen to remember what type of farming your family did on the property?
