This was Lynford and Violet Dietz's farm when I was very young, although they built a new house across Steinsburg Road, fronting Bell Gate Road, when it was time to give up farming. The Strain family lived here when I was in elementary school. I had play dates with their daughters, Cathy, and her younger sister, Jennifer. The Strains moved well before 1982 though. Now, of course, the farm is subdivided and yields a crop of yuppy mansions.
