My uncles farm.

Tony DiGiambattista purchased the farm in the 1960’s

The farm was named - Sycamore Farm. A beautiful Sycamore Tree still stands today along the driveway to the pharmaceutical complex. The main house was to the right of the tree. The main house was a large stately home with a large porch facing the street and another porch facing the tree. There were two tenement homes on the property and a small apartment on a portion of the second floor of the main house. The property had a huge strawberry field and a number of cherry trees. The original owner / farmer sold the farm at auction to my uncle because a bull went after him and did severe damage that made it impossible for him to continue farming. Each stanchion in the barn had the cows name written in white paint on a blackboard surface. Some of the names of the cows: Elaine, Iris, May,
Betsy, Helen, etc.
My uncle sold the farm to a group of investors for 1 million dollars and they kept the property for two years and sold it for 3 million dollars to a large pharmaceutical company.

I still have the name plates for the cows.
