This was Eakins Farm Market in Cranberry, Pa. We started it in 1991, opened it in 1992, and closed it in 2001 when we accepted an offer from a developer for the land. In the nine years we were open, the market exceeded over 1 million gross in business. The decision to terminate the business came mainly from an auto accident severly injured the owner. After long proceedings with insurance companies, the decision was made to cut loses and accept the property offer. The greenhouses and equipment was auctioned off and property sold.
