The house at the bottom of this photo is where I grew up. My grandfather and grandmother, Jim and Olive Kalp built it. Jim was an engineer with Koppers company, he designed furnaces for the steel industry. When i say they built it, I mean that they physically built it. The house in the center was originally a log cabin that was added onto. Today the pine trees along the road are huge and the present owner has made many changes to our old house.
