Rt 15 Walden The Hale Farm
This was the home of Winifred and Gertrude Hale from 1940 - 1995. I believe Winifred's parents were on the farm prior to that. This site was also the homestead of the first town clerk in Walden, according to Betty Hatch. Both original barns shown are now gone , but a small barn similar to the original horse barn was built in 2009.
