The Hollis and Ruth Rowell farm when this photo was taken. Before that it was the Harry and Helen Rowell farm, where they raised their 8 children: Louise, Eunice, George, Marvin, Morris, Hollis, Wilbur and Harriet. The house and barn burned and these were the buildings built in their place. This barn was the last timber-frame barn built in the area.
