This is a photo of Toney's Supermarket. John and Cindy Toney owned and operated this business for almost 20 years. The store closed in May of 1990. Toney's in Front Royal Va was owned and operated by H.B. and Doris Alexander. That stored closed in 1989. Susan and I were 4 and 3 when the Stephens City location open in 1978. Roma's pizza open next door to us in the 1980's and is still there today.
