This farm is at W5283 Degnitz Rd. Juneau WI. The barn, silo and cowyard are gone now.
Jerry Von Haden farm. He moved to Mauston in the mid-1990s
Yes, and the Degnitz family farm before that. The Degnitz's built the present house.
Do you know what year the Degnitz family sold it? Just curious. Iām thinking early 80ās?
I'm not sure- I know the Von Haden's had the land enrolled in farmland preservation as early as 1985. Did you live at this address?
Jerry was my uncle, spent a lot of time there as a kid.
Oh good memories I bet! I met Mrs. Von Haden once- very nice lady. We've lived here 22 yrs. now. Several past owners have come to visit including one of your cousins. I don't remember her name but she was the Von Haden's daughter- shortly after we moved in.
