This farm is the Ernest & Fern Lemon Farm. Since 1968, Ernest (1988) & Fern(2008) have passed; as well as their son Henry(2023) whom took over the farm as the second generation. The farm is still in the family. Ernie & Fern’s granddaughter and her husband (Jeff & Ann Stirn) now own the farm.

The changes in buildings are: the corn crib is gone and a large pole shed was built over the workshop with additional cold storage in the back. The house back porch was enlarged.
A nice detached 2-car garage(now in bad shape) was built across from previous stated porch.

A sizeable outbuilding was constructed diagonally from the barn to raise Peacocks.

It's fascinating to hear about the generational transition and how the farm is still in the family. Can you tell us more about the type of farming that has been done on the property? We'd love to learn more about the rich history of this farm. Feel free to share any other stories or information you have about the area during that time.
