This is my grandparents home. My grandfather built it.
I found out more information about my grandparents home. This is actually the second of two homes built by my grandfather on this property. The first one was a log home built lower to the dirt road where the vehicles are parked. This first home was damaged by major flooding and was torn down. So my grandfather rebuilt the second home in the location pictured above. Due to a landslide sometime in the late 1990's this home pictured was abandoned by my grandmother and uncle who resided there. The landslide totaled the house making it unlivable. My uncle bulit a new home for my grandmother on this property just after this landslide. This new home still exists on location about 200 yards from the house pictured above. Reminents of the Second home still exists, but however is overgrown by nature.
This home was only a 3 bedroom, single bathroom, with garage and basement/cellar below residence. It was actually quite small.
