Ula Homestead Farm

This is our farm. It has been in the family since 1854. Our grandkids are the 8th generation.

I'm glad to see this photo turn up on a genealogy web search.
In Nov. 2017, after visiting Green's Prairie Cemetery and while driving toward Blanchardville, I was surprised and interested to see this great barn. It occurred to me at the time that this farm is possibly the same one worked by my ggg-grandfather, Christian Ula (see History of Green County, p.1149). Christian's daughter, Julia (Ula) Soper, was my gg-grandmother. It's nice to see the farm is still in the Ula family. Also see the J.C. Ula, E.L. Soper, J.W.
