I attended school there from 1953 through 1961. When I started there it was just a one-room school. The addition on the south side of the building wasn't built until later. At first all 8 grades were in the same room. By the time I left grades 5-8 were in the south addition (the flat roofed section.) My mother also attended school there many years before I did. I had so many good friends there and so many wonderful memories. In the photo the backstop to the ball diamond can be seen in the lower left of the photo. We played a lot of great baseball there.
