This home was built by my great-grandfather, Charles Seering. Later, Charles' daughter, Victoria and her husband, Vernon Monroe, my grandparents, took over the homestead. They farmed until the late 1950s or early 1960s. Vernon and Victoria lived there until the mid 1980s.
