West Fulton Street Waupaca Wisconsin

This motel sat on the south side of the road and predates all the other businesses that are there today.
There was a stigma about businesses building on the 'swampland' or wetland you see at the top of the picture. That water remains today, the motel is long gone and now this is the busiest business corridor of Waupaca.
This is the land that Culver's and the carwash sit on now.

The old Ranch Oak Motel. It was just a bit east of Culver's, where the Pick 'n Save is.
