This is a photo of the Twin Point Resort along Hwy 45 Between Oshkosh and Fond du Lac. My parents nearly bought the property back in 1968. It fell into dis-repair until some one restarted the bar restaurant with a new building. It's still in operation today.

My father had a slip there off of the point there, about half way through. I remember running around the property and sleeping in our small sailboat, listening to the stays dinging against the mast. Sometimes people would come from the bar there and step on the side of our boat to make it rock in the middle of the night! Lots of memories there!

Hi Jamie! Thanks for sharing your memories of Twin Point resort. We love hearing stories about the past. Do you remember any specific features or activities at the resort? Also, since the photo was taken in 1977, what changes have you noticed in the area since then? We're curious to learn more about Winnebago County, WI during that time period.

Hi Alexis. Twin Point resort had a bar/restaurant and 3 rental cottages. My mom, her partner Jerry and my siblings and I would go there every summer. My mom and Jerry knew the owner personally and we hung out with his daughter and son. There was a swimming area and boat docking area. Fun times!

Also, it was sold in the early 80s. They tore it down and now it is TJs Harbor Resort Restaurant.
