First class to attend K-8.

The original Fremont Grade School building (now the Fremont Middle School) was on the east side of Fremont Center Rd. in Fremont Township. It was located across the road from the Wilhelm "William" Tekampe farm and the John Tekampe farm to the south (see cattle to the right of the photo). I remember during our Tekampe family reunions we would play softball on the school grounds.
