MY HOME GROWING UP UNTIL 1987. AND A-LOT CHANGED...

This is a picture of 15937 Washington St., Gurnee, Il, just southwest of Six Flags Great America. This was the home of Edgar and Lorena Michel who had seven daughters and I married one. After they sold in about 1980s it served as a B&B for some time. We referred to the property as "The Hill".

Lake County Concrete rented the barn in the mid 70s to early 80s. I went to high school with Kathy but never saw any of the Michel family when I was loading or unloading forms.
