This is the farm I grew up on, owned by my parents, Arlie and Ardis Bergmann. By 1970, many of the outbuildings had been taken down. The corn crib, hog house and connected cistern and hay storage building, two chicken houses and the outhouse. By '73, a new house had been constructed in front of the original, which was donated to the Tripoli FD for practice. The old hired man's quarters/summer kitchen, with attached patio, also was torn down at that time.
