Francis (Whitey) Wolfe was born on this farm in 1919. When his father Henry Wolfe passed away in 1945, he and his wife Dee came back to farm it and raise their family. They retired and moved to Humboldt, Iowa in 1980. That house was built in 1964. The barn in the for ground burnt down in 1976.
