This was the farm where I was raised. The original barn burned in down in the 1980's and was replaced with a farrowing house for hogs. The smaller silo near the barn collapsed with the fire. My dad farmed here for over 40 years and was forced to retire after injuries sustained from falling 25 feet down from the silo on the left in 1989. They eventually sold the acreage but kept the farm land which they still own today.
