The current address of this property is 4444 V18 Road, Montezuma, Iowa. My grandparents, William and Frances Jacobi Boddicker King, bought this farm south of Brooklyn in Section 15 of Scott Township, Poweshiek County, March 1, 1907, from W. B. and Mary Rhinehart. My father Lester King grew up on this farm. William and Frances lost the farm in 1938, but my father purchased the farm from the bank in 1939. Lester and Edna Crider King raised their seven children on this farm. We attended Scott # 6 School and Brooklyn (later BGM) Community School. Lester and Edna sold the farm in 1976 to Jim and Janet Van Ersvelde.
