This is the house I spent most of my childhood in, 7190 Patton Road. My step-father, Elmer Vernon, was the one who built it, I think in the late 1950s. We lived there from 1977-1983, and moved when Elmer passed away. There was a HUGE snapping turtle that lived in the pond. I remember catching it a few times, when I would go fishing, but it always broke the line. None of this is here now. The house, the garage, the pond...all gone. The last time I saw it, you couldn't even tell a house was ever there.
