In the late 1980's or early 1990's, the state had a new bridge built just to the left of the old suspension bridge, In 1986, I was in drivers ed and had to drive across this narrow, old and scary bridge.
It was in the 80s. I rode the bus on the new bridge. Just wasn't the same
It is neat to see a picture of the old bridge without the new one beside it. I was born in 1986 so I can't remember riding on the old bridge.
