The Phillips 66 was Delbert Nix’s Feed & Grocery store. Bought many a Choc-Ola and 3 Musketeers candy bars from there. The one story building in the lower right corner is NOT the Post Office, it is the Ingraham restaurant. The building in the lower left hand corner is the old Ingraham State Bank. The new Ingraham State Bank is kitty-corner from it on land that used to be occupied by my Uncle’s house.

In the foreground is the old Ingraham elementary school. The car lot and garage were owned and run by Leo Butler. The house next door to the garage was Leo Butler’s home.

This and the preceding photo was my grandparents farm. They bought the place in 1965. It consisted of the original farmhouse, barn, corn crib, chicken coop, carriage house and outhouse. Now all demolished. It even had a small pond back by the barn from when there was livestock. The new house was built in the late 70’s after my grandfather passed away, the metal outbuilding followed a couple years after. My mother bought the property upon the death of my grandmother and lived there till her death in 2013. We then sold the place out of the family.
