Kasper's Cheese Factory on the left. The factory and house behind it are no longer standing, the house on the far right is still standing as of 2024. Phillip H. Kasper bought the cheese factory in 1891 and ran it very successfully for over 50 years, receiving many awards, winning almost every local and international competition he entered. According to "Ripley's Believe it or Not", Mr. Kasper won more awards for his cheese making than any other U.S. Cheesemaker. Factory was in operation until 1970. It is the 238th entry in the National Registry of Historic Places.
