What Does Pre-1986 Mean?
One of the archives in our collection was acquired from a company called Champion Air Views. Champion took spec photography for door-to-door sales from the late 1960s to the mid-1990s. Unfortunately, they did not keep track of what year their film was taken until 1986. This means all the previous records just stated that the photo was shot before 1986. If you see a section of the film that lists the year as PRE-1986, it simply means it was form before 1986, and we do not know the exact year. We know the film would have been taken between 1968 and 1985.
