Pembroke High School. Original structure towards the front opened in 1948 but this site served as the African American High school for North Bryan since the early 1900s. Continued to serve as an educational building until the early 2010s. Extension added in the mid 1960s the year before the school system begun de-segregation, and came down due to extensive mold in 2024. Original 1948 building still standing and slated to serve as an educational center under name for longtime principal and educator Dr. Leon Dingle.
