Alot has changed and in my personal opinion it has become over crowded. You can barely even drive anywhere here now because there is so much traffic.

Lived here all my live have watched it grow it is a lot of traffic for smslll city

My father worked at the gas station across the street from Red Food Store in the early 1980’s. I miss him so much.

Yes I definitely remember this. I worked at red food store during my years in high school. Been my hometown since I was a toddler living with mom on lookout mtn. So much has changed and really hate that's so busy now. Miss our little "mayberry" town we used to have 😔

Worked here back in the early 1970's. Owned and operated then by Doug Porter and Frank Bedwell. Back in the days of "full service". Great memories.

Milt Case had his saw shop in those busses.

My dad worked there at the gas station,!

HM Gass worked there before he went to tva- then we bought a washing machine and a Chevrolet!!!

lived here all my life, much changed in the last 30 years

I remember milts shop, and the red food store, l would pass it every day going to work go up and around the square to the shop rite, dixie freeze was across the road, had a jukebox, gross shopping center, dixie dime store, price pharmacy, barber shop in the corner

1972/1973 I believed Larry Henagar own the gas station and Calvin Castleberry use to work there part-time.
